I don't think the losing ticket is a big deal - they just want to get you signed up. It's like when I see ad's saying "bring in a losing lottery ticket for 50 cents off a cup of coffee".

I only posted this in offshore because it was odd. Never seen this before and was wondering if anyone took them up on this, people do that here all the time ask questions about offers. Seems pretty risk free.
